Why did we........ planit
Think about how many times you find yourself scrolling on your phone and… okay, okay, you know where this is going.
But we all know why. Platforms are designed to keep us on our screens. And while we love them for passive entertainment, we often find ourselves watching what other people are doing instead of doing things ourselves.
We wanted something that preserves the benefits of social media while mitigating its toxic traits. A platform designed to help people actually meet and do things in the real world.

There have been too many times when we had the opportunity to get out of the house, but chose to stay in our comfort zone. If you see something interesting, just go do it. You never know what you might experience.
Mental Wellness
Social interaction is one of the key determinants of mental well-being and happiness. It feels like more and more people today are searching for connection, and we hope to make it easier to find in the real world.
Communication
Online communication will never replace the depth of meeting in person. We believe online interaction should simply be a starting point, while real conversations happen when you actually meet.
Humanity
AI is here, and it's improving at an incredible rate. It's becoming harder to tell what's human and what isn't. We believe real connection starts with real people, and we want to build a place for genuine human interaction.
Safety & Respect
Arguably the most important aspect of a community is feeling safe and a sense of belonging. At planit, we do not tolerate disrespect or harassment of others. If you plan on showing up to events with the sole purpose of flirting or harassing people, this is not the place for you.
